The Auto Update Groups function

Each data field has a Group property which is used in lists where you choose a field (for example when creating a report or a sort order) to group the fields in the list.

By default, the group corresponds to the tab the field is located on in the data entry window. If you move a field from one tab to another, we recommend you update the Group property of the field.

You can do this by right-clicking the field and choosing Properties from the popup menu to manually modify the Group property, or you can use the Auto Update Groups function:

Choose Auto Update Groups from the File menu. Confirm by clicking Yes.
